House Inspections

A house is a large
investment.

A home is a place
of comfort.

An inspection is
critical to
assure you that
the house is
safe and fully
functional, so
you can make it
your own!
Congratulations on your decision to purchase a new home! After all the stresses that go along with buying
and selling on the real estate market these days, you're on the home stretch with the whole buying process!

But wait. While you were meandering through the house of your dreams, did you happen to notice any
major defects that could come back to haunt you in later years of being a property owner?

A word to the wise: When it comes to buying a house, never guess.

Locating those defects before you buy is crucial because there's no return policy if you're not satisfied with
your recently purchased home. One cannot simply return a home to its previous owner if it is in need of
repair. Once you purchase a home, you're on your own to maintain it, repair it, anticipate problems and pay
all the bills. This is why it's best to know as much as you can about potential problems
now, before you
make the big commitment to buy.

Making all these decisions can be stressful, but with my experience in home building and maintenance of
over 40 years, I will provide you with a quality, independent perspective on the condition of the home you
have chosen. Your home inspection will be an information gathering process that is intended to provide you
with a better understanding of the existing property conditions, and how to properly care for your home.
This property inspection will bring you peace of mind in your home buying experience. Instead of more
questions, I will provide you with answers regarding your future and your best interest in your new home.

A detailed comprehensive visual inspection to assess the condition of the house and all of its systems will
be my first step in evaluating your home. I will help you define the maintenance required to catch little
problems before they turn into expensive situations and determine the components that are not performing
properly as well as items that are beyond their useful life or are considered unsafe. Together we will also
identify areas where repairs may be needed or where there may have been problems in the past.

Your home inspection will provide you the opportunity to slowly and methodically view and consider the
object of your investment. During the inspection, you will have time to voice questions and concerns as you
evaluate your prospective purchase with me at your side - working for you!

Give me a call and let's set up an appointment for inspection today!
